Návyk na virtuálních drogách - netománie

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focusses on the issue of virtual addiction, analyses the risks, and examines the consequences of excessive internet use. The theoretical part specifies how nformation and communication technologies and the cyber environment affect the psyche, behaviour, and perception of time and space in internet users. The thesis defines the term addiction and non-substance addiction and describes the symptoms, risk phenomena, risk factors, and causes associated with virtual addiction. The thesis includes a specification of the FoMO syndrome in the context of non substance addiction. The practical part of the thesis includes a quantitative research method by means of a questionnaire survey with interpretation of the results concerning the effects of netomania and the proposal of preventive measures and recommendations to mitigate the risk of developing addiction to virtual drugs.
