Abstract

OLBRICH, Viktor. The influence of flammable gas content in a mixture on selected explosion parameters. Ostrava, 2016. Diploma thesis, VSB – Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of safety engineering. This work dealt with the influence of flammable gas content in a mixture on selected explosion parameters. Measurements are carried out using a 20-L Apparatus company Kühner AG. To the measurements are chosen methane, propane and hydrogen gas. These gases are mixed with air and the gases concentrations in the mixture are changed continuously their explosion limits. The work is divided into the three sections. The first section deals with the theory of the explosion and the description and the definition of explosion parameters. The second section focuses on the description of the apparatus and the measurement procedure. And in the third section are evaluated the measurement results.
