Analýza ekonomické situace v důsledku změny výrobní struktury u zemědělského podnikatele

Abstract

This thesis is focused on verifying the economic situation that results from changes in the structure of production among agricultural businesses that use grants provided under the framework of the programs and rules of the EU’s common agricultural policy. For this purpose, farming in the Czech Republic is focused on agricultural business. The system of support in agriculture in the period after accession to the EU has also been analyzed. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to reasons for supporting agri-business and the role of subsidies in it. This work then involves a project for automated milking technology on a particular farm. The business entity was granted a subsidy for this technology as part of LEADER, Local Action Groups. The economic situation of the farmer was also addressed with regards to production and economic results, and the impact of subsidies on the economic situation of the business entity has been addressed. On this basis, the further development of the business side of farming is anticipated under long-term sustainable rural development and agriculture. The method of the effectiveness of investment was used with NPV (net present value) to compare the effectiveness of milking parlors and milking robots (automated milking). Investment in automated milking technology and rational and strategic decision-making are options that can help a small entrepreneur become a successful business entity in agricultural primary production.
