Materiály používané pro pružiny automobilů

Abstract

This work deals with spring materials in the automotive industry, focuses on steel coil springs, their chemical composition, production, processing, properties. In order to achieve the necessary properties, precision in production is necessary, these springs are most often alloyed with silicon for a higher modulus of elasticity. These steels must have high fatigue resistance. For maximum life, the coil springs are blasted to prevent intrusions from crossing the surface and creating extrusions that act as tension indicators. In the practical part, metallographic analysis, analysis of chemical composition, hardness according to Vickesrs, fractographic analysis of a broken spring was performed.
