Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the design and verification of protection relay configuration REX615 and REX640 with emphasis on arc flash protection and IEC 61850 communication. A functional configuration was developed in the PCM600 environment, enabling reliable fault detection and selective operation of the protection system. The practical part includes test tasks performed on a training panel to verify the proposed solution. The result is a configuration suitable for training purposes, along with a test protocol included in the appendix.
