Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with catalyzed reaction between hex-1-ene chosen as model molecule, representative of hydrocarbon type of pollutants and hydrazine, as nucleophilic agent, for conversion of organic pollution occurring in wastewater to potentially interesting (inter) products. Two types of titanosilicate-1 were selected as catalysts, the classical form TS-1 and the layered TS-1/lam. In addition, one representative of the Sn-vermiculite clay catalysts was chosen, due to the catalytic properties of tin in reaction with hydrogen peroxide and hence the expected activity for the reaction with hydrazine.
Analysis of the samples taken from the reaction mixture was performed on a gas chromatograph with a flame ionization detector (FID). The internal standard addition method was used to evaluate the experiments. The parameter of interest was the conversion of the reactant and the selectivity to the reaction products.
