Optimalizace krycích strusek v mezipánvi plynulého odlévání oceli

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with optimization of utilization covering and active tundish slag in a tundish for continuous casting section. The quality of the cast steel can be adjusted using a suitable covering and refining slag in the tundish. Active tundish slag is capable of modifying the non-metallic inclusions present in the molten steel. The first part of this thesis is therefore devoted to the issue of use of the covering and active tundish slag. Another part is analysing of literary knowledge focusing on the behaviour of tundish slag in common use. The aim of this diploma theses was to compare properties of each experimental refining and covering slag which were used in the measurement. Summary of obtained results is presented at the end on the thesis.
