The submitted bachelor´s thesis deals with assessment of preparedness of electric power systems based on legislative regulations and specific organizational documentation of a distribution system operator. It provides information sources related to the topic. Power outages (BLACKOUT) in a selected area of the distribution system operator are processed using FMEA.
