Zhodnocení vztahů Turecka a Evropské unie v kontextu rozšiřování EU

Abstract

Turecká republika se již desítky let zapojuje do evropského integračního procesu, přesto stále není členem a její potencionální přistoupení čelí řadě komplikací. První část této práce je zaměřena na teoretická východiska rozšiřování Evropské unie, v druhé části je popsán vývoj vztahů Turecka a Evropské unie a poslední část se soustředí na vyhodnocení současného stavu přístupového procesu Turecka k Evropské unii. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit pokrok Turecka v přístupovém procesu k Evropské unii a nastínit problémové oblasti v kontextu aktuálního vývoje. V práci je využita metoda deskripce, analýzy, syntéze a komparace.

The Republic of Turkey has been involved in the European integration process for decades, yet it is still not a member and its potential accession faces a number of complications. The first part of this thesis focuses on the theoretical basis of the process of enlargement of the European Union, the second part describes the development of relations between Turkey and the European Union, and the last part focuses on evaluating the current state of Turkey's accession process to the European Union. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the progress of the accession process of Turkey in to the European Union and outline the problematic areas in the context of current events. In this thesis has been used methods such as description, analysis, synthesis, and comparison is used in the work.
