Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with activities and economy of civil associations, particularly those of civil association Volnost. First part of this thesis is focused on definition of non-gain sector according to different criterions, followed by history and importance of non-gain sector in Czech republic. Second part is dedicated to the issue of legal regulations of civil associations in connection to the newly enacted civil code and possibility of transformation according to new legal forms. Third part describes activities and economy of civil association, historical development of membership and expected trends in economy development.
