Abstract
Topic of this thesis is recruiting and selection of employees at Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant (herein after referred as the monitored organisation). The aim of the thesis is to propose new possibilities for staffing in the monitored organisation. The issue of hiring employees is actual due to the imminent retirement age of a relatively large part of the personnel in the monitored organisation. The theoretical part is literary overview which serves as a basis of creating a practical part. In the theoretical part, based on available literature, is explained employees recruiting and selection process. The practical part is focused on qualitative research of other organisations, monitored organisation, its employees recruiting and selection process, evaluation of results and solution proposals. In the thesis was used the qualitative research method among the personnel officers of other organisations, analysis of internal and external environment of the organisation, interviewing experts, observing the process of recruiting and selection of employees and research of organisation’s internal regulations. Evaluation of the result was based on logical consideration and comparison of survey results with the monitored organisation. The main finding was that its recruiting and selection processes are very good and no serious flaws were found. According to the findings it was possible to propose some another ways of recruiting employees which are unused in the monitored organisation and could increase the efficiency of this process. Other proposes are administrative adjustments that could simplify the work of human resources personnel.
