Stanovení kapacity nádrže na pěnidlo u zásahových požárních automobilů

Abstract

KOPŘIVA, J. Determination of Capacity of a Foam Concentrate Tank in Emergency Tenders: bachelor thesis, Ostrava : VŠB TU, 2012. 51 p.

The bachelor thesis looks into problematic of foam usage usable as fire extinguisher in the Czech Republic. Thesis includes evaluation of foam concentrate within intervention performed by regional fire rescue services, municipal voluntary fire units and company fire rescue services. For particular categories of units, thesis proposes capacity of foam concentrate tank at fire truck. Preliminary chapters of thesis are focusing on relevant legislation, insight to historical and modern fire cars conception, ensuring sufficient amount of foam concentrate in European countries and conception of “United equipment of tank fire engine within Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic”. Concluding remarks also outline price differences between particular fire trucks and various types of foam concentrate.
