Abstract
This bachelor thesis examines the risk specification associated with the use of alkaloid substances, especially kratom, among children aged 10 to 15 years. The theoretical part provides an overview of the characteristics of alkaloids, their mechanism of action on the human body and the legislative framework concerning kratom. The practical part analyses data from quantitative research on children's awareness of kratom, the influence of the family on the substance use decisions of these children and the impact of educational programmes on different age groups. The aim of the work is to contribute to a better understanding of kratom use among youth and to propose prevention strategies and interventions aimed at protecting the health of children and young people.
