Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Capability Analysis of the Railway Axle Drilling Process". The main target of this analysis is to verify the capability of the process of drilling holes in railway axles according to appropriate statistical methods, including their given quality characteristic of the size of the given hole. This thesis is further divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the issue of process capability. The basics of the theory of machining and drilling will follow. In the next part will be the practical part, which is aiming on the description of the current state of process evaluation in the industrial company and the capablity analysis of the process of drilling railway axles.
