Abstract
The goal of this diploma paper is to verify the selected technologies of the modification of sandy wastes from Sn-W ore with high amount of SiO2, loaded in sludge bed at Cinovec, for its utilization in glass industry like an alternative source of silica sand, which is basic and simultaneously most important component of glass batch.
The work includes also mining-geologic characteristics of ore field and the way of the treatment of the broken ore. In the experimental part are presented the laboratory test results of flotation and magnetic sepration including the evaluation of the glass meltage. The analysis of the obtained products are mentioned also.
The results of the experiments are subject to substantional reduction of contamination of aggressive fluor. The treatment is focused in how to separate minerals containing Fe, which is objectionable in the glass batch.
Because of his indisposed influences during the meltage. The by-products can be obtained and used Li, Cs, Rb.
