Abstract

SKÁCEL, Michal. Security threats and risks of the European migration crisis: Bachelor thesis, Ostrava 2024. VŠB – Technical University Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. This bachelor's thesis deals with and solves the issue of the European migration crisis and its threats and risks. The aim of the work is assess how migration affects international security and security of EU countries with impacts on the Czech Republic. The first, theoretical part, is focused on the general view of migration, its history, typology and threats associated with it. In addition, this part also deals with the migration policy of the European Union and the Czech Republic as well as legislation related to the above topics. The second part deals with the analysis and comparison of statistical data related to migration. In the framework of this work were selected three states of European Union for comparison of selected crimes related to migration. The conclusion of this work is focused on the evaluation of the results based on the practical part.
