Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the method of selection and evaluation of suppliers. The theoretical part is dedicated to explaining the benefits of partnership with suppliers. It also describes the basic procedures for evaluation and selection of suppliers. It also focuses on the description of possible ways of measuring the performance of suppliers. The practical part describes and evaluates the methodology for selecting and evaluating suppliers in the company UNIKOV Steel spol. s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to define opportunities for improving this process and to propose a change in methodology.
