Vliv IoT na pohodlí a kvalitu života v chytrých domácnostech

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the investigation of the impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) on the quality of life and comfort of smart home users. The theoretical part defines the key concepts and principles of IoT and elaborates the concept of smart home, its main functions and areas of practical application. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey, the aim of which was to find out how users perceive the impact of IoT technologies on their everyday life. The results show that the majority of respondents consider smart devices to be beneficial, especially in the areas of security, energy saving and increasing comfort. On the other hand, concerns related to privacy and complexity of some systems were also identified. The final section of the thesis outlines the future of smart homes, which will naturally adapt to the lifestyle of users and play a key role in creating a safer, healthier and more connected home.
