Fosilní paliva a jejich budoucnost

Abstract

This thesis is focused on the fossil fuels in general. The aim was to give the overview of the fossil fuels and to think about their future. The thesis contains groupings of particular fuel types, comparsion of their main qualitative parameters, and outlook for the future. The theoretical part is dealing with goupings of the fuel types (oil, coal, natural gas), however practical part is focused on the comparsion of the fuels by the main qualitative parameters, like: caloricial value, ash content, sulfur content and water content. Next part is dealing with deposits and total amount of resources of the particular fuels. I have compiled current point of view on the fossil fuels, and also outlook for the future, based on the Energy Policy of the Czech republic document, as this policy is designed for the future up to the year 2060. Finally I am dealing with potentional transition from the fossil fuels to another type of energy.
