Abstract

This thesis deals with the possibilities of positioning tin balls placed on the track, which is made up of two stretched resistive wires. Ball position is controlled by an industrial PC ALIX. The computer is connected via the USB interface to the open-source development platform Arduino containing the I/O pins. As the actuator control circuit is used servomotor, which governs the stroke angle of the arm on which it is mechanically fixed resistive track with the moving ball. All signals necessary to implement the regulation is drained into the box with the control electronics. The thesis describes a regulator designed using the methods of modern control theory. Program for controlling physical model is created in the control system REX and visualization is run in a web interface using HTML5 technology. All components used for position control balls are placed on teaching rack and together form a unified model that will be used by students of the Department of cybernetics and biomedical engineering.
