Abstract

The Diploma Thesis deals with the design of a dry retention reservoir and in detail describes the steps in the design of special-purpose reservoirs, and particularly dry retention reservoirs. The selected locality for the water management structure was a valley in the cadastral district of Hradec nad Svitavou. In the introduction, I characterize the locality from the historical and geodetic points of view and describe the existing fauna and flora. The following chapters focus on the technical options and requirements for the given water management structure design. The discrete elements of the water management structure are detailed. The final part concentrates on the water management structure from the technical-safety points of view, including the required documentation, and construction work technology.
