Charakterizace výstupních parametrů chirurgického laseru

Abstract

This diploma thesis is based on lasers. It describes single parts of lasers, their characteristics and the way of optical radiation generation. Lasers are divided according to their characteristics and according to the way of use. This thesis is directed towards medicine lasers. It also contains laser safety information. Practical part is specialized in surgical laser Nd:YAG. This chapter includes attributes of this device, output parameters and the methods of measurement. Because of continual mode of generation, measurements are focused on the radius of the laser beam and its power. On the basis of this parameters, beam divergence, beam profile and power density were calculated. Safety measures were suggested on the basis of the measurement outcome.
