Abstract
Diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of secure communications on SIP signaling protocol. It defines concepts and principles for the protocol technical support in the context of Internet telephony. At the beginning, basic concepts related with IP telephony and security of the SIP protocol are clarified. Furthermore, work describes and divides possible attacks on this protocol into different categories and concrete examples of attacking applications will be mentioned too. An implementation of application for generating SPIT attack type is a part of the work too. Finally, all the data and knowledge are formed into principles for securing VoIP communications based on SIP protocol.
