Abstract

KERIMIDIS, Dimitris. The Rest Home in Krasna, Master’s thesis, VSB TUO, 2018, 167 pages. This diploma thesis focuses on elaboration of a project of the nursing home in the village of Krasna, Czech Republic. The nursing home, located in a mountainous region of Northern Moravia, will provide comfortable accommodation for seniors, as well as working facilities for nurses, caretakers and other staff. The main focus of the thesis is on the design of the system of interior water pipes and solar water heating. In addition, it contains the design of circulation water and water used for fire-fighting. Drilled wells together with public water system will serve as the main sources of drinkable water for the building. The retention basin will provide the secure accumulation of both the water sources. This thesis consists of the text and designs of the building and its facilities.
