Případová studie tornáda v městě Krnov

Abstract

STÝSKALA, Matěj. A Case Study of a Tornado in the Town of Krnov. Ostrava, 2016. Vysoká škola báňská – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering.

This bachelor thesis deals with basic description of a tornado and his properties. A particular tornado that has occured in the Czech republic is described as the next step. In the next part is described and evaluated proces of rescue and relief work and also measures taken by crisis management committee. The thesis is concluded by suggestion and justification of possible measures that should be taken to mitigate aftermath after a tornado breakout or to increase the speed of rescue and relief work.
