Abstract
The thesis deals about characterization of biosorbent using microscopy. The biosorbents studied were a seed rape oil and fine powder of a crushed orange peel. These natural materials have also been studied using electron and optical microscopy. Introduction is devoted to the description of the sorption process, which includes especially adsorption and absorption. There are described the sorption isotherms, the sorption equations and process of a biosorption and a bioacumulation process. The next chapter describes the constitution of the TEM and SEM and the optical microscopy. In the experimental part are presented all above mentioned procedures, primarily sorption process. The last chapter is devoted to images from an electron microscope Philips SEM 515 and an optical microscope STM.
