Abstract
The topic of Diplome thesis is to design the application of modern technologies into the existing operation and maintenance of equipment cathodic protection (CAP) of steel pipelines, which are operated by Unipetrol RPA and given that this is a device that was intalled in the 70’s of last century, it can be assumed that an increase of effective and technically sophisticated fraffic management cathodic protection.
The main objective of thesis is to assess the current status in terms of loss and the efficiency of traffic resources, and check procedures for the maintenance of long-distance pipelines cathodic protection and propose solutions to their applications to the current system using modern technology could contribute to reducing the rate of aging self protected the pipeline, to ensure full use of auxiliary equipment, limiting the number of errors that can be caused by the existing methods of data collection and processing and may have a significant effect on the wasteful use of funds spent on the operation and maintenance of CAP.
