Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with Horizontal CCM of copper alloy. Double current device with horizontal CCM was used in non-ferrous metal works Čelákovice. Four meltings 2930, 2928, 2919 and 2924 with different value of copper in alloy were choosed. From measured temperatures were calculated densities of heat flows and thermal axes of crystalliser, which express direction of heat outlet. Based on results of experimental measurements can be said, that thermal axis moves above up at the end of crystalliser. Meltings with the highest content of copper seems to be the most dangerous.
