Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the acquisition of spatial data of the church of St. Catherine of Alexandria by laser 3D scanning. The basic principles of operation and use of this technology are described in the theoretical part. The practical part of this thesis describes the process of data collection, issues related to data acquisition, spatial data processing using computer software, and their use.
