Abstract

The theme of the Bachelor´s thesis is profitability-oriented financial analysis of the company operating in the building industry. The goal of the thesis is an evaluation of financial situation of the company in years from 2004 to 2009 using financial ratios and pyramidal decomposition of Return on Equity ratio. First part of the thesis deals with methodological basis of financial analysis and pyramidal decomposition. In the second part of the thesis are these basis applied on the company. The results of financial analysis and pyramidal decomposition are evaluated in the end of the thesis and there are given recommendations to the company for the next years.
