Abstract

POŠTEK, Marcel: Design of Stabilisation Measures to Ensure Safety and Stability of the Principal Mine Workings during the Flooding of Ostrava Partial Basin: Diploma thesis. Ostrava : VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Geotechnics and Underground Engineering, 2017, 82 p. Thesis supervisor: doc. Ing. Naďa Rapantová, CSc. This diploma thesis deals with the stability of the main mining works during the flooding of the Ostrava Partial Basin. The subject of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the destruction of the main mining works in the past and at present. The task is also to create variants of the barrier which prevents the backfill material from being pushed into the horizontal parts. The designs are processed into 3D numerical models created in the MIDAS GTS NX geotechnical program. The output of the thesis is the evaluation of the variants and their suitability for use during the flooding of the Ostrava Partial Basin.
