Abstract

The analysis of the benefits and risks of the implementation of excellence models into organizations practice

This diploma thesis deals with benefits and risks of the implementation of excellence models into organizations operating in the Czech Republic. The first part of the diploma thesis is focused to theoretical backgrounds organizations excellences. In this part are defined the terms and principles of organization excellence and study of the economic impacts of the TQM implementation. Further, the world's best-known excellence models are described and selected methods and tools for excellence models enforcement are characterized. The second, practical, part of the diploma thesis evaluates the benefits and risks of the implementation of excellence models into organizations practise, based on the questionnaire examination. In this part are organizations asked about their practical experience, knowledge and obstackles during implementation of excellence models. The last part deals with the case study where is excellence achieved in the practice of the engineering company.
