Abstract
This thesis deals with scanning shape complicated parts. The first part deals with theoretical analysis of 3D scanning, distribution of 3D scanners and focus on methodology of digitalization. The next section is dedicated to specific equipment used for scanning. Particulary Artec EVA scanner and ScanReference system. The following chapter is devoted to the practical work and describes process of SCX III car frame scanning following adjustments in CAD software. Summarizing the results of 3D scanning and specific issues with shape complicated parts are described at the end of the thesis.
