Abstract

The thesis is focused on the industrial usage of explosives for disconnection of limestone during its mining in open-cast mines. The first part describes practical usage of these materials, including the ways and some aids common during preparation and performing these activities. The next part sums up and describes dangerous materials used including their dangerous qualities. The main aim of the thesis is to present the group of identified hazards and possible dangerous situations which can arise mostly through unfavourable cooperation of more factors and circumstances. The part of the thesis is also the suggestion of possible measures and changes leading to minimazing probability of arising harmful effects of known hazards.
