VLČEK, J. Evaluation of selected dynamic characteristics of fire fighting vehicle. Di-ploma thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – TU Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. 2020, 59 p. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate and compare dynamic properties of selected emergency firefighting vehicles with a focus on first-respond vehicles deployed in fire protection units in the Zlín region. In the first two chapters of the thesis is gathered information and evaluation of the current state of thesis topic. The third chapter deals with the problem of vehicle braking. The fourth and fifth chapter is devoted to the practi-cal part of the thesis, where the means and methods are characterized, and their applica-tion done. The sixth chapter then evaluates the results of the practical part and compares them with the current state.
