Abstract

The aim of this work is to determine why women entrepreneurs is far less than male entrepreneurs. What women perceive obstacles in business, what are they helping business start.

They described the basic concepts of gender and approach in the development of the position of women in society. The following are ways of doing business or employment, as well as some tools to support women in their economic activity.

It was conducted both secondary and primary research. Primary research was conducted through a questionnaire, which were answered by 123 women. Results of the questionnaire were compared with secondary data.

The biggest obstacles to women's entrepreneurship proved to be the fear that the business could not support, lack of finance to start a business and worried business start

The most common situations in which women start a business, they are after graduation or during parental leave.

To help startup business career sees more than 90% of women support families saved money free, comprehensive business information and belief on demand. As the biggest obstacles to doing business in the Czech Republic were marked rampant tax administration system, generally unfavorable conditions and lack of state support.

Final recommendations for women entrepreneurs lies mainly in how to help each other, for example, rather than relying on the state to issue business and employment of women perceive solution, however, it provides only a partial.

Women themselves must promote entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic, themselves set an example and to gradually change the perception of women entrepreneurs from something extraordinary to ordinary thing.
