Abstract
This thesis deals with the analysis of gender wage inequalities in the labor markets of the European Union. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate gender inequalities in labor markets in selected countries of the European Union by means of descriptive, comparative and regression analysis. The first part focuses on the theoretical basis of gender inequalities in the labor market. The empirical part deals with the summary of work on the topic of gender inequality in the labor market or the measurement of the gender pay gap both in the Czech Republic and in countries outside and inside the European Union. The practical part is divided into two parts, the first one focuses on descriptive and comparative analysis of gender wage inequalities in EU labor markets. The second part of the chapter deals with the regression analysis of wage inequalities in EU labor markets.
