Abstract

This bachelor thesis provides a detailed insight into my internship at Revlan s.r.o., a company active in the mining industry. One of the main objectives of the company's management is the gradual automation of production processes and the conversion of a substantial part of technological operations to fully automated control. During my internship, I focused on a specific project - the control system of a sorting line, which consisted of four main parts. The first part introduced the company and automation technologies. The second part focused on creating documentation for the electrical design of the line and PLC programming. The third part was dedicated to creating algorithms and programs for controlling the production line using components from Siemens. The final step was to create a visualization of the production line using the WinCC application for the personnel operating the line.
