Benchmarking vybrané skupiny podniků

Abstract

The aim of my work is to describe the basic methods of benchmarking and apply them to a group of selected companies. These undertakings are engaged in stone mining. The first part is the definition of benchmarking, including its history. There are examples of persons who deal with this method. The second section describes the methods of benchmarking for each method are briefly covered as well as its advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part of the data are processed according to pre-selected indicators from the annual reports of individual companies for 2005 - 2009. In conclusion, the results are interpreted and determined leader of the group.
