Abstract

The main aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis of current financial sources utilization possibilities from chosen Community programmes and grants of Financial mechanism EEA/Norway. This object is reached through assessment and evaluation of relevant data and specifics related with given questions. Among others is compared also theoretical background and practical application at both endowment titles. Primary output of this diploma thesis is comparison of management and implementation of Community programmes and Financial mechanism EEA/Norway in practice. First chapter called “Theoretical background of grants utilization from chosen EU and EEA/Norway programmes” is aimed to provide necessary data and specifics for both endowment titles. There are laid down theoretical information coming up from official methodics related with chosen programmes – definitions, history, size of allocated amounts intended for using, as well as the indication of structuring systems. Second chapter, which is named “Application and management of chosen EU and EEA/Norway programmes in practice” is aimed to provide theoretical information in the light of real functioning and implementation of both financial mechanisms in practice. In this part of diploma thesis is the attention given mainly to comparison of disparities, which occur between theoretical and practical level of implementation at both endowment titles. In the final part called “Comparison of functioning and financial sources utilization possibilities from chosen EU and EEA/Norway programmes” is made final matching of “cost – benefit” ratio, respectively, there is compared what can be offered by the endowment titles to the users and at which theoretical/practical conditions.
