Abstract

BENCOVÁ, Michaela. Financial Analysis of Company from the Manufacturing Industry. Ostrava, 2021. 55 s. Bachelor thesis. Vysoká škola báňská – Technická univerzita Ostrava. Faculty of Economics. The bachelor thesis aims are to assess the financial stability of the company. The work is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The first part defines what financial analysis is, the sources of its data, what methods it uses and who its users are. At the beginning of the practical part are the company's characteristics and methods applied with commentary of the results. After that, there is horizontal and vertical analysis for the balance sheet and profit and loss statements, followed by an analysis of ratios. At the end of the chapter, there is a comparison of the company results with the sector in which it operates. The practical part is followed by an evaluation of the analysis results with a recommendation for improving the company's situation. The conclusion contains a final summary of the methods and results.
