Abstract

Completion of individual student practise was carried out in the company Tieto Czech s.r.o., where I became part of a team providing management, service and support of customers servers based on operating system Microsoft Windows Server. The point of this work was to determine the functionality of a complete server management process and to understand basic process management applied in Tieto and its generally accepted working practises and applied standards. In detail, I dealt with applying the ITIL standard and its application in Tieto company as a basic structure of the Process Management system on the Microsoft Windows platform. An integral part of my job was verifying theoretically acquired knowledge into practise in the form of system specialist function, whose task was carrying out the diagnostics and management of customer servers by using provided software tools.
