Selektivní katalytická oxidace amoniaku za použití katalyzátorů na bázi směsných oxidů.

Abstract

This bachelor thesis was focused on studying catalytic properties of Mg-Al mixed metal oxides that were used for lowering emissions of ammonia by using the method selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia. Hydrotalcite Mg-Al was prepared by the coprecipitation method as a precursor for catalysts. By the calcination at two temperatures (600 °C and 800 °C) Mg-Al mixed metal oxides were obtained. They were impregnated by different amount of copper (5, 10, 15 wt.%) and calcined again at same temperatures. After that two sets of catalysts were obtained. The physicochemical properties were stated by methods AAS, XRD, SEM and of N2 physisorption. After that the catalytic test of NH3-SCO were performed. The results of measurements showed that the most effective catalysts were the samples with the higher amount of copper (600-Cu15/MgAl and 800-Cu15/MgAl).
