Dělnická kolonie jako bydlení budoucnosti s prvky participativního bydlení

Abstract

The objecties of this study were the transformation from the original worker’s colony named Zimný důl in Orlová city into the place with attractive housing for all age groups. Apart from the project for the overall renewal of the territory, the plan was also to use elements of participatory housing for residental building (in the case of reconstruction and plans of new objects) including common community equipment of the area and public space.
