Optimalizace dobývací metody chodba-pilíř na základě provozních zkušeností z podmínek OKD

Abstract

The search for new coal mining options brought to OKD, a. s., the idea to test mining by using the room and pillar method. Therefore, in 2014, a trial operation of the new, not yet approved, “chodba - pilíř” mining method was launched at the ČSM Sever mine. The aim of the trial operation was to apply the worldwide common method room and pillar in OKR conditions and to find the best alternative to currently used longwall mining method which would have minimal mining impacts on the surface. The scope of this thesis is detailed analysis of the trial operation of new established mining method, evaluation of the experiences gained during this trial operation and the proposal of the possibilities for further application of obtained results in coal mining in the Upper Silesian basin.
