Řetězení procesů v rámci Web Processing Service

Abstract

Cílem této diplomové práce je poukázat na možnosti řetězení webových procesních služeb v rámci nástroje GeoServer a jejich následovné rychlostní porovnání s procedurálně naprogramovanými procesy pomocí jazyka Java a tak přispět k dalšímu výzkumu a rozvoji v této oblasti. První část práce je věnována teoretickým základům webových služeb obecně a dále se zaměřením na geoinformatiku, která následně navazuje na podrobnější seznámení s Web Processing Service (webovými procesními službami). V druhé části se seznámíme s nástroji a software potřebným k vypracování práce. Třetí část popisuje způsoby a možnosti řetězení procesů včetně jejich programování. Na závěr jsou uvedeny výsledky měření rychlostí a jejich vyhodnocení.

Main goal of this diploma thesis is research of possibilities of web processing service chaining within GeoServer together with comparison of process speed against process procedurally programmed in Java and contribute to further research and development it this area. First section of thesis elaborates theoretical background of web services in general and thereafter with focus on geographic information systems with detailed look at web processing services. In second part, there are introduced tools and applications used for elaborating thesis. Third Third section describes options and possibilities of chaining processes, including their programming. Finally, the results of the speed measurements and their evaluation are presented and the end of the thesis.
