Department of Security Services. Supervisor: Ing. Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. This thesis focuses on the topic of comprehensive technical-regime protection of the multifunctional building. Main points of the thesis are analysis of current security, identification of its weaknesses, and last but not least the offer of three possible solutions in applicable level of security. In the introductory part of the thesis the legal environment of the Czech Republic together with theoretical basics of physical protection are assessed. Following chapter describes the building, its history, current security, and also important elements which limit use of several security features. Next part of the thesis develops analysis of critical areas of the building and current security. The last part focuses on risk analysis evaluation applied to the building as well as development of three solutions for safety precautions including economical evaluation and selection of the most acceptable solution.
