Abstract

Thesis assesses the fire safety of existing high-rise building used for an accommodation of persons. In the first part is assessed a fire safety of building before the code of standards of fire safety of buildings come into force. In the second part provides the requirements of existing standards of fire safety and the need to equip the object with fire-safety devices. The third part of the work deals with the proposals of the adjustments so that the object was safer for both, the accommodated persons and affecting the fire protection units. The final part of the work assesses by the sight of the owners of objects and architects on the issues of fire safety in objects.
