Analýza vlivu ceny vody na její spotřebu

Abstract

This work deals with consumption and the price of water in the Czech Republic and in the whole world as well. It generally outlines the importance of water on Earth, and how to get water to the consumer. This thesis also outlines the historical development of water supply, which describes both the first mention of water supply and the water industry we know today. On the other side it monitors the progress of water prices in the Czech Republic and in the world. Another solved issues focuses on price structure and what influence the price of water. This thesis also shows water consumption in the Czech Republic and marginally in the world. Finally there are discussed the causes and consequences of decreasing water consumption.
