Abstract

The Bachelor thesis characterizes the taxonomic group of the lumbricoid (Lumbricidae) and its relation to the environment. It has a form of literary research and describes morphologic, physiologic and ethologicical qualities of these significant representatives of the soil edaphon. It presents the study by means of capturing methods, monitoring, the main determinative features, and it mainly emphasises the the lumbricoid bioindication importance, especially for application of agronomical methods in agricultural production and ecotoxicology. The thesis aims at presenting the growing interest in the scientific research of these organisms and the possibilities of using their special properties.
